California, Independence Creek Campground

Directions:

Traveling Northbound on Highway-395 in the small town of Independence, take a Left turn on to Market street and proceed Westbound.  After approximately half a mile the street name will change to Onion Valley Road, continue Westbound.  In another half mile the campground entrance will be on the right side.

Independence Creek Campground is open all year however water is turned off during the winter months.  RV's up to 30 feet can be accommodated with water only hookups.  Cell service is good in this area for most carriers.  Some sites are first-come, first-served.  Reservations are available on reserveamerica.com.  Campground roads and parking pads are all dirt.  Each site has a picnic table, fire ring, and BBQ.  Pets are allowed.  The campground has drinking water and vault toilets.  Many spots have shade.  Independence creek runs through the campground.  A limited number of sites are available to walk-in.
