Comment

Indian Creek RV Park is located on the Rogue River with river access across the highway and does not have direct river access.  The campground is open all year with 90 RV hookups and 26 tent sites.  The campground is clean and well maintained with some large grassy areas.  There is a camp store and laundry room available.  A cafe is located at the front of the park.  Across the highway, on the Rogue River, is a Landing where boats can be launched and berthed.  Downtown Gold Beach is located just a mile or so from the park.  The downtown area has all the essential services campers need including fuel, markets, and bands.  It's quite a nice campground in a good location for accessing the area.  Big rigs to almost any size can be accommodated.  Cellular service was excellent in the area.

This campground may have mosquitoes.  Depending on the time of year, they can be quite a nuisance.  Campbase recommends a mosquito mesh hatinsect repellent, and a mosquito net awning to sit in.  If mosquitoes bother you, these items are essential for this location.

Local Recreation:

Boating and fishing on the Rogue River is popular from this location.

Jerrys Rogue Jet boat rides are located just a mile from the park in the Port of Gold Beach.

The wreck of the Mary D. Hume is located nearby in the Port of Gold Beach.  It was one of the first tug boats to work in the Rogue River.  It was abandon on shore and remains where it was left some time ago in the Port of Gold Beach.  It's now a national historic place.
