IronHorse Campground is located on New Melons Lake with direct lake access and a lake view from most camp spots.  This is a dry camping campground.  There are no RV hookups available.  Some sites are large Pull-A-Round camp spots.  The New Melons Marina and a boat launch ramp are located near the campground.  The marina has Ice and some of the essentials.  Boat slips are available there.  Three miles from the campground at Highway-49 is a shell fuel station with a market.  The market also has ice available.  The campground actually has good cell service, something that is unusual for most campground.  Starlink also works well from most camp spots with limited tree obstructions.  The campground is dotted with large oak trees.  Some spots, but not all, are very large.  Campbase recommends RV's up to 35 feet however, larger vehicles may fit in some spots.  They say there is a dump station in the park but Campbase never saw it.  The location is a bit remote so, be sure to bring everything you need with you.  This park is open all year.  However, the park could close if lake water levels fall to low.  It would be best to call ahead and verify the campground is open.
