Description

Washington, Klahanie Campground in the Olympic National Forest is located on the South Fork Calawah River and has a typical temperate coastal rainforest canopy, including old growth spruce over 8’ in diameter, hanging mosses and a lush carpet of wood sorel and sword fern.

Direction:

From Forks, WA travel north on US Highway 101 for one mile. Then turn east onto Forest Service Road 29 and drive 5 miles and campground is on the south side of road.

Klahanie Campground is part of the Olympic National Forest.  Just 20 camp spots are available.  All spots have shade trees.  The camping season is early Springs no through late fall.  Camp spots have river access.  Trailers and RV's up to 21 feet can be accommodated.
