Description

California, Kyen Campground is located on the northern shore of Lake Mendocino.  The campground has easy access from Highway-20.

Direction:

From San Francisco, travel north on Highway 101 for 5 miles past Ukiah. Turn east onto Highway 20, then turn right on Marina Drive. Continue past the north boat ramp to the campground entrance.

Kyen Campground on Lake Mendocino is a seasional campground with 102 RV or tent camp spots.  The campground closes in late October and reopens in April.  It's located right on the shores of Lake Mendocino where there are beaches and boating.  Most Camp spots have large shade trees.  Each Camp spot has a picnic table and fire ring.  They also have lantern stands used for hanging your night lights.  The boat launch ramp is located just a block from the campground.  Most camp spots are 25 or 30 feet so anything larger may have difficulties finding a spot.  Reservations are available on Recreation.gov or Reserveamerica.
