Description

Oregon, Memaloose State Park Campground has easy freeway access.  Located at the freeway rest-stop.

Directions:

On Interstate-84, west of The Dalles, take exit 76 and go into the freeway rest-stop.  The campground entrance road will be at the back of the rest-stop.

Memaloose State Park Campground the campground is seasional being open from March through October.  There are approximately 100 RV and tent camp spots.  BIg rigs up to 60 feet can be accommodated.  The campground has shade trees and is located on the banks of the Columbia River.  However, railroad tracks prevent safe access to the river.  A river access point is located near the campground.  There is some noise from train tracks on the north side of the campground.  Camp spots are reservable at the state website provided here.
