Moccasin Point Campground has RV hookup campsites with water, sewer, and electricity (30 amp RV plus 2 standard 20 amp 120V outlets) hookups.  18 full hookup sites are available.  79 tent sites are also available. Paved camp roads, paved parking pad, picnic table, and barbecue/fire ring at each site, plus hot showers in developed restrooms.  Moccasin Point is a great spot for boaters because of the launch ramp and boat parking beach.  There is also a small marina if you want to dock your boat.  Cell service was good with Verizon having 4 bars.  Most camp spots have shade trees.  Some sites can accommodate RV's up to 35 feet but, most are not that big.  Campbase recommends rigs no larger than 30 feet.  After hours arrivals will find a list near the entrance of available camp spots.  Choose a spot and pay the fee at the entrance booth.  Please see the Campbase photos tab for a picture of the list and fee payment information.  Available sites will be first-come, first-served.  During weekdays camp spots are usually available.  Weekends are usually full and reservations are recommended.  For reservations, click the link provided here on the right.

Local Recreation:

The small historic town of Coulterville is located just 15 miles from the Moccasin Point.  There are shops, a museum, a bar and small market.  It's interesting to walk around and see the old buildings.  See our pictures tab for a few pictures of the town.
