Morro Strand RV Park  is for RV's only, there is no tenting.  Tent trailers are ok.  The campground is open all year with approximately 50 RV spots.  This is a private campground and not part of Morro Bay State Park.  The Morro Strand State Park and beach are located just a few blocks from the campground.  HorsebackIng is really popular in this area.  There is a truck and horse trailer parking area just a block from the campground.

The campground is in a great spot for seeing Morro Bay.  Most attractions are within walking distance(about 2 miles) from the campground.  Morro Rock is less than a mile away.

There are a lot of things to do in Morro Bay including bicycling, sight seeing, Whale tours, and beach combing.  It's dark on the beach at night and it's a good spot to star gaze.

The Morro Bay Trolley services this area and can take campers all over town.  Each ride is just $1 and an all day pass is $3.  It's a great service for the campers without tow cars.  They also have Trolley Tokens.  They are also good souvenirs.  Yay for the trolley service, they do a great job.  Get more information at www.morro-bay.ca.us/trolley

All the campgrounds in Morro Bay fill up quickly.  It's best to get reservations early.  During the summer months, most campgrounds in the Morro Bay Area are full.
