California, Olive Grove Campground in the Lake Piru Recreation Area. 

Directions:

From the small town of Piru, California, take Main Street and go North.  Driving out of town the road will change name to Piru Canyon Road.  The highway will wind to the North for several miles passing Lake Piru Dam.  Continue past the dam and you will see the parks entrance booth in under a mile.

Olive Grove Campground at Lake Piru is the larger of two campgrounds in the park with 200 RV and tent camp spots.  The campground has lake, marina, and launch ramp access.  The campground has some RV spots that can accommodate RV's up to approximately 35 feet.  Most camp spots are better suited to smaller RV's.  Restrooms with showers and an RV dump station are available.  A limited number of spots have full hookups.  Many spots are electric only.  Reservations can be made by calling the reservation number provided above.  There is a campground store for most of the essentials.  Ice is also available in the park.  Yes, this campground is located in a beautiful olive grove with plenty of shaded spots.
