California, Panther Flat Campground, Is located in the Six River National Forest.

Located in the Six Rivers National Forest.  Easy access from US HWY 199.  From Gasquet, go east on US 199 for approximately 3 miles and look for the campground sigh.  The address provided here is an approximation.

Panther Flat Campground.  There are 39 RV sites with a maximum length of 40'.  The camp sites are shady and secluded.  Some camp spots are close to the Smith River.  There is river rafting, and fishing on the Smith River.  The campground is about 20 miles from the ocean.

Open year-round.  Some sites are available first-come-first-served and other sites can be reserved through ReserveAmerica.  Reservations are not required but, recommend.  

Camp fire restrictions may be put in place depending on the California drought conditions.

Tenting and RV camp spots are available.  Maximum RV length is 40 feet.

The campground is covered in trees in a river side setting.
