Directions From The North:

Take Interstate 95 toward Bangor. Take Exit 182A (formerly Exit 45A) to Interstate 395. Follow Interstate 395 until it ends at Rt. 1A. Turn right on Rt. 1A to Christian Ridge Rd. (watch for sign to Patten Pond) Turn right and go to end. Turn right onto Rts. 1-3. Continue for about six and a-half miles and watch for large Patten Pond Camping Resort sign on the left.

Patten Pond Camping Resort has cabins, tenting and RV camp sites.  There are 146 camp spots are available.  Waterfront sites are available.  Spots are reservable at Reserve America by clicking the red "Book now" button above.

 

Local Recreation:

 

The Down East Sunrise Trail ends in Ellsworth near the campground.  It's a multi-use trail for hiking, biking, and off-roading.  Get your mountain bike and ride.  It's 95 miles through an amazing wilderness.
