Directions:

Pennyrile Forest is located in Western Kentucky. From the Western Kentucky Parkway take exit 24 to Hwy 109 south and follow to Pennyrile entrance about 7 miles outside Dawson Springs.

Pennyrile Forest State Resort Park is open all year with a lodge, cabins, tenting, and RV camp spots. Pennyrile Lake located near the campground is more like a pond and not well suited for power boats. The campground has 42 sites that are mostly electric. A few equestrian camp spots are also available. RV's up to 61 feet can be accommodated in just a few sites. Most sites are between 35 and 55 feet. The park is forested and most camp spots have shade trees. The park has a swim beach available.
