Ponderosa Campground

Directions:

The town of Cody is located approximately 50 miles outside the eastern Yellowstone exit on highway 14.  The campground has a total of 169 Sites and big rigs are welcome.  There are 70 pull-thru sites at this location.

Comment

The Ponderosa Campground is a seasonal campground open from April through October, weather permitting.  The campground has tenting, cabins, and RV sites.

The campground is centrally located for access to Yellowstone through the eastern entrance.  Sites have large grassy areas with mountain views.  There is also a trading post at this location with a large selection of Indian jewelry, rugs and pottery.  The campground is located within blocks of Cody's shops and restaurants.  There are lots of things to do in Cody including the rodeo.

There is a trolley stop in front of the campground.

Located 10 miles from Buffalo bill Reservoir.

Not open all year.  Open April through October.
