California, Prado Regional Park Campground

Directions:

From the 91 freeway, take highwat 71 north.  Proceed approximately three miles to Euclid Avenue ( hwy 83) and go right (northeast).  The park entrance will be approximately one mile up on the right side.

The park is in a nice location for campers from Riverside and Orange County.  Its just a short drive away.  There are 75 RV or tent camp spots. Reservations are available at:  (877) 387-2757

The park is near Prado Dam and the Santa Ana River.  There is an Equestrian Center and trail available.  Across the highway is the Prado Olynpic Shooting Park that has archery and a gun range.  The shooting range can be heard from the camp spots.  This may make some campers nervous.  The park has a small 64 acre lake that is stocked with fish.  This is a no body contact lake.  Radio Controled boats are popular on the lake. 

If you visit this park, make sure that you also eat breakfast at Flo's Restaurant at the Chino Airport.  They have the best breakfast in the land.
