Description
California, Prairie Creek Redwood State Parks has two campgrounds in the park. Elk Prairie and Gold Bluffs Beach campgrounds and three environmental hike/bike campgrounds. Click the links on this page for additional campground information.
Location/ Directions
50 miles north of Eureka and 25 miles south of Crescent City on Newton B. Drury Scenic Parkway off of Highway 101.
Comment
The park is a natural old growth Redwood forest. There are also several miles of beaches on the west side of the park.
The small towns of Klamath and Orick have the closest services. Klamath is to the north and Orick is to the south.
