Ruby's Inn RV Park & Campground has cabins, tipis, tenting, and RV camp spots.  Ruby's also has a Best Western Inn just in case you are traveling with friends who don't camp.  There are 250 RV and tent spots.  Full hookups are available.  The RV Park and Campground is open March 30 to October 30.  Some camp roads are paved.  The majority of camp rods are crushed rock.  Approximately half of the camp spots have shade.  Large RV camp spots are, available.  The campground is a good alternative to camping inside Glen Canyon National Park.  It's in downtown Bryce Canyon with all the essential services available.  There is also a national park shuttle stop at the front of the campground.  The bus takes you to all points inside the park and it's really the best way to travel.

Across the highway from the campground is Bryce Canyon Shuttle Parking.  It's a good place to park the RV for the day and ride the bus through the park.  The parking area has large spots for RV's.  Also, there are some scenic highways in the park that do not  allow large RV's.  See the PHOTOS tab for pictures of this parking area.

Local Recreation:

Off-roading is popular from this campground.  The campground is surrounded by forest with access into the forest trails.

Visit the "Shuttle Tickets and Information" booth at the front of the campground and sign up for a free three hour shuttle tour of Bryce Canyon National Park.  This is the greatest.  It's free and the drivers know everything about the canyon.  It was the perfect way to see the park.  Do me a favor and tip the driver, I forgot.

Road touring in and around Bryce Canyon National Park is simply amazing.  There are several scenic biways in the area.

During the Campbase visit in July 2015, the national park was working on a paved bike path.  The path wound through the forest for several miles and may eventually connect to other bike trails.  When it's complete, it will be one of Americas best paths.  Bring your bike, you don't want to miss this one.
