San Miguel Campground, Carpinteria State Beach.   The campground can accommodate RV's and tents however, it's more of an RV campground due to the size of the spaces.  RV water and electric are available.  No sewer connection or cable TV available.  Campground showers are coin operated.  Railroad tracks run along the campground and there is some railroad noise.  RV's up to 35 feet can be accommodated.

Carpinteria State Beach is located ten miles south of Santa Barbara in the town of Carpinteria.  The state park  has 200 RV and tent camp spots.  Carpinteria State Beach offers a mile of beach for swimming, surf fishing, tidepool exploring and camping.  Seals and sea lions can be seen in the area December through May, as well as an occasional gray whale.  Tidepools contain starfish, sea anemones, crabs, snails, octopi and sea urchin.  The state park has four campgrounds:  Anacapa Campground, Santa Rosa Campground, San Miguel Campground, Santa Cruz Campground.  Group sites are also available.  Most group sites are $180 per night.
