Located just 23 miles east of Placerville on Highway 50 then 14 miles north on Ice House Road (Forest Road 3) on the east side of Union Valley Reservoir.

Sunset Campground is seasional being open from June through September. Use caution, this is an active bear area. Bear boxes are provided. The campground has 121 total camp spots.
