Comment

Westside Regional Park Campground has 45 RV or tent camp spots.  The campground has restrooms, showers, and drinking water.  The campground is located right on Bodega Harbor.  The campground does have a small beach but, it's not like a regular beach.  It's a little muddy being inside the bay.  Beside the campground is the Westside Launch Facility where you can launch small boats or kayaks.  It's very convenient.  Just east of the campground is a small marina with boat berths available.   Campground restrooms are clean with showers available.  Each camp spot has a picnic table and fire ring.  Reservations are available at the counties web site provided here.  Other sites are first-come, first-served.

Local Recreation:

Charter fishing boats are available at the parks marina.  There are several different charter services.  There are also whale watching tours available.

There are several beaches in the area available for beachcombing.

Road touring is popular along Highway-1.  There are some spectacular views.

The Point Reyes National Seashore is located just 20 miles south on highway-1.  There are forests, beaches, and lighthouses to explore there.
