Windy Cove Campground Section A  is open all year with tenting, and RV camp spots.  Cabins can be found in Section B.  There are no reservations available in Section A, sites are first-come, first-served.  The campground has restrooms with showers.  Camp roads and parking pads are all paved.  Picnic tables and fire rings are located at each camp spot.  Access to the Oregon Sand Dunes is possible however, there are campgrounds located closer to the dunes that are better suited for off-roading.  Located across the highway from Salmon Harbor Marina.  Marina activities are popular from this campground.  Most camp spots do not have shade.  Cellular service was good for most carriers.  This is bay front camping being located across the highway from Salmon Harbor Marina.  Windy Cove Campgrounds A and B are sister campgrounds.  They are located next to each other.  Pleas find a link to campground B below.  Most spots are full hookup but, a few are electric only.  Click for a campground map.

This campground does have mosquitoes.  Depending on the time of year, they can be quite a nuisance.  Campbase recommends a mosquito mesh hatinsect repellent, and a mosquito net awning to sit in.  If mosquitoes bother you, these items are essential for this location.
