Description

Montana, Yellowstone Park KOA is located approximately 5 miles outside the West entrance to Yellowstone National Park on highway 20.

Directions:

From Idaho traveling from the south and west via US Highway 20: As you cross the Continental Divide and the Montana/Idaho state line at the top of Targhee Pass you will go 3 miles to find KOA on the left.

Comment

The campground has a patio cafe that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner.  There is a coffee cabin that is great for those that need the morning cup of coffee.  There is a fire ring at every camp spot.  Pets are ok at this campground.

Yellowstone National Park is a very large park.  It's known as a "drivers" park because, most of the sites in the park need to be driven to.  This KOA is a good starting point for day trips into the national park.

The campground has bueatiful cabins, tent sites, and RV sites.

There are approximately 250 camp spots at this location.  This is a large campground with just about every amenity imaginable.
