Description

California, Collins Lake Campground is also called Collins Lake Recreation Area.  The lake is located just one hour Northeast of Sacramento.

Directions:

From Brownsville travel Southwest on E12, Willow Glen Road.  At the intersection with the E20, the road name changes to Marysville Road.  Proceed an additional mile and look for the Collins Lake sign and Collins Lake Road.  Go left on Collins Lake road.  Follow the road approximately one mile into the campground.

Collins Lake Campground has cabins, tenting and RV camp spots.  The campground office is located at the camp store.  There are approximately 210 camp spots.  Some camp spots are right on the water with lake views.  There is a boat dock and a boat launch.  The park has fewer than 10 full hookup camp spots so reserve these early.  Most spots have electric and water.  There is also a dump stations available.  The camp store has just about everything.  Ice, propane, and fuel are available at the camp store.  Reservations are available on the parks web site provided here.
