California, Badgers Den Campground at Camp Richardson Resort and Marina.

Directions:
 
From the town of South Lake Tahoe, near the intersection of highway 50 and highway 89.  Proceed north on highway 89.  The campground is approximately three miles up on the right side of the highway.  The marina and campground check-in will be on the right side just past the campground.

Badgers Den Campground at Camp Richardson Resort and Marina on Lake Tahoe with approximately 200 tent only camp spots.  The Campground has dry tent camping located in a beautiful natural forest setting along Lake Tahoe.  Badgers Den is part of the Camp Richardson Resort.  The resort has a hotel, cabins, marina, and a RV park.  There is also a coffee shop, ice cream parlor, bike shop, and camp store.  The campground does not have lake front camp spots however, the resorts beach is just a short walk.  Pets are not allowed in the campground.  The camping maximum stay is 14 days.  Double camp spots are available.  

Local Recreation:

There is just about everything you could imagine to do in the area at Camp Richardson.

There is an extensive and paved bike path that leads away from the resort and into the beautiful national forest.  Its quite a nice bike path and suitable for all ages.  Bikes can be rented at the Camp Richardson bike shop.  

The Camp Richardson Corrals and Pack Station is located at the resort.  Public riding is available. 

The Camp Richardson Marina on Lake Tahoe offers a boat dock, slips, boat rentals and much more.  There is a beautiful beach at the marina so its a great place to spend the day.

The Nevada gaming casinos are just across the state line in South Lake Tahoe.  Its approximately 10 miles away
