Directions:
 
From the town of South Lake Tahoe, near the intersection of highway 50 and highway 89.  Proceed north on highway 89.  The resort is approximately three miles up on both sides of the highway.  The marina and campground check-in will be on the right side.

Camp Richardson Resort and Marina has a hotel, cabins, tenting and RV sites.  There are 100 RV sites and 200 tent sites.  Lodging, cabins and camping are available year round.  The resort has three distinct campgrounds.  The campgrounds are the RV Village, Badger's Den Campground, and Eagles Nest Campground.  As the name implies, the RV Village campground is for RV's only.  Full hookups are available at the RV Village.  Badgers Den and Eagle's Nets campgrounds are for tenting only.  Most camp spots in all three campgrounds have large shade pine trees.  Of the three campgrounds, Badgers Den is closest to Lake Tahoe.  The RV Village and Eagles Nest are across the highway from the lake.  

Local Recreation:

There is just about everything you could imagine to do in the area at Camp Richardson.

There is an extensive and paved bike path that leads away from the resort and into the beautiful national forest.  Its quite a nice bike path and suitable for all ages.  Bikes can be rented at the Camp Richardson bike shop.  

The Camp Richardson Corrals and Pack Station is located at the resort.  Public riding is available. 

The Camp Richardson Marina on Lake Tahoe offers a boat dock, slips, boat rentals and much more.  There is a beautiful beach at the marina so its a great place to spend the day.

The Nevada gaming casinos are just across the state line in South Lake Tahoe.  Its approximately 10 miles away.
