Description

California, Bailey Cove Campground, Lake Shasta.  The campground has easy access from Interstate-5.  The campground does not have a physical address.

Directions:

Bailey Cove campground is located 15 miles north of Redding, CA.  Take Interstate-5 north to O'Brien, CA. Exit Shasta Caverns Road to the Bailey Cove entrance. (approximately 1 miles off I-5).

Bailey Cove Campground Lake Shasta can accommodated RV's up to 45 feet.  Most Camp spots can accommodate a 35 foot RV.  Campbase recomends 30 foot maximum RV length due to small sites and narrow roads.   The campground is seasional with just 7 camp spots available.  The campground is open from May through September.  There is a boat launch facility near the entrance to the campground making this a good location for boaters.  Holiday Harbor Resort is just one mile from this campground.  The resort has boat docks.  The campground has direct access to Lake Shasta.  In 2026 the lake was at or near full pool and the water came right up to the campground.  The campground map used here does not show water near the campground however, that was not accurate in 2026.
