Comment

Bay Pines Travel Trailer Park is open all year with 112 RV only camp spaces.  Sorry, no tenting at this location.  Extended stay is available at the park.  The park has easy freeway access from Highway 1.  There is a very nice pool and green belt in the park.  The park is about a mile from Morro Bay State Park.  At the state park there is a state marina with boat slips and a kayak rental facility.  There is also a restaurant.  The Morro Bay Golf Course is in the same area (see the pics).  Downtown Morro Bay is a quaint fishing village with numerous shops and great seafood restaurants.

Morro Bay has a bus service and a city trolley.  TheTrolley was excellent however, it does not service this park.  $1 per ride or $3 for an all day pass.

Bring your bicycle, Morro Bay is bicycle friendly and there are many places to ride your bike.

Approximately three miles from the campground is Morro Strand State Beach.  There are sand dunes, beaches, and HorsebackIng.  Park your truck and horse trailer on Atascadero road near the beach.

There were lots of great photography opportunities in the area.  Campbase captured a few good shots, see the photos tab.

Get your reservations early.  There are approximately 10 campgrounds in the Morro Bay area and everyone of them was full during campbase's visit in July 2014.  Look at the bottom of this page for campgrounds close to this park.
