California, Beals Point Campground, Folsom Lake SRA

Directions:

On Interstate-80 is Roseville, take Douglas Blvd. and go East.  After approximately 2 miles, turn right ont Auburn Folsom Road.  Proceed Southbound to the Beals Point Entrance.  Turning left into Beals Point Campground.   

The Campbase map is accurate for the location of the day-use area.  The marina is at a different location.

Beals Point Campground, Folsom Lake SRA.  The Beals Point Campground is open all year with tenting and RV camp spots.  The campground has two sections.  The area closest to the entrance has approximately 20 full hookup camp spots.  RV's up to 31 feet can be accommodated in these spots.  Continuing into the campground are 50 additional dry camping spots.  Firewood is for sale at the campground.  Camp roads and pads are paved.  Restrooms, showers, and drinking water are also available.  Most camp spots have pine shade trees however, summer temperatures are extremely hot so it's best to also bring an awning.  A laundry room is not available. 

Use caution, poison oak is everywhere in the park.
