California, Folsom Lake SRA

Directions:

On Interstate-80 is Roseville, take Douglas Blvd. and go East.  After approximately 2 miles, turn right ont Auburn Folsom Road.  Proceed Southbound to the Beals Point Entrance.  Turning left into Beals point.  There is a campground and day use area there. 

The Campbase map is accurate for the location of the day-use area.  The marina is at a different location.

Folsom Lake SRA has two campgrounds:  Beals Point campground and Peninsula campground.  The campgrounds together have  149 RV and tent camp spots.  Beals Point Campground is open all year.  The Beals Point Campground can accommodate RV's up to 31 feet with full hookup camp spots.  Lake levels were low in 2016, please see our photos tab.  Summer temperatures can be hot and dry at Folsom Lake.  Shade trees are available but, a sun shade would also be helpful.  

Local Recreation:

Folsom Lake SRA is the starting point for a 32-mile long paved bicycle path linking the lake with many other county parks and ending in Downtown Sacramento.
