Description

Black Meadow Landing, California, Black Meadow Landing is located on Lake Havasu 10 miles from Parker Dam.

Directions:

 From Parker Dam take Trails End Camp road.  Travel approximately five miles to Black Meadow Road.  Proceed an additional five miles on Black Meadow Road.  Black Meadow Road ends at the campground.  When traveling in this desert area make sure you bring plenty of drinking water.  The road is in great shape for the first five miles and then gets a little worn on the last five miles.  Take your time and enjoy the views.  RV's up to approximately 40 feet should not have any trouble.

Nore:  RV's and trailers are not allowed on Parker Dam, passenger vehicles only.  You will need to travel from Parker North on the California side of the Colorado River.

Black Meadow Landing is open all year with 350 RV and tent camp spots.  RV's up to 53 feet can be accommodated.  Situated in a secluded part of Lake Havasu, it's a desert playground for watersports, lake swimming, boating, waterskiing, jet skiing, and fishing.  The recreation area also has a five hole golf course, tennis, hiking, biking, rock climbing, camping, and bird watching.  The park has RV camp spots located right on the beach with water acces.  Bring your boat and launch it in the parks marina.  Boat slips are also available along with RV and Boat storage.  Tent sites are also available.  This recreation area has all the services and amenities you will need for a comfortable stay.  There is also a hotel, restaurant, and small market.  

There are numerous wild donkeys in and near the campground.  They do visit the camping area at night.  Make sure to put all food away including dog food to avoid attracting them.  They are interesting to watch however, they are wild animals so it's best to keep your distance.  Click here to see a video of Black Meadow Landing.

Local Recreation:

There is a beautiful five hole golf course available at the resort.  The grounds are well maintained.  RV camping is also available around the edges of the course.  They have quite a bit of fun there, see the photos tab. 

Fishing and boating are the most popular activities from this location.  The resort has access to Lake Havasu and over 50 miles of lake.  Traveling south from the resort on Lake Havasu you will find Parker Dam.  To the North you will find Lake Havasu City and London Bridge.  It's a boaters paradise.  

Parker Dam is located just 10 miles east of the campground.  It's a great spot for a quick tour.  For security reasons walking on the Dam is not allowed.  RV's are also not allowed on the dam.  

The Bluewater Resort and Casino is located in the Parker area approximately 30 miles from the resort.
