Butterfield RV Resort and Observatory is open all year with 173 RV camp spots.  Camp cabins are also available.   Pull thru and full hookup camp spots are available along with numerous shade trees and paved camp roads.  The camp spots have picnic tables but no fire rings.  It's also located in the town on Benson where there are markes, restaurants, and fuel.  The prime camping season for this park is October through April.  Extreme summer tempratures tend to drive most RVers out of the area.  The park is located in a desert area however, winter tempratures are mild.  The resort is well manicured with paved camp roads and pads.  There is also the bonus of having an observatory on the property.  Pets are allowed and there is a small dog park.  Big rigs to approximately 50 feet can be accommodated.
