Arizona, Quarter Horse Hotel and RV Park has easy freeway access.

Directions:

Southbound on Interstate-10 in Benson, Arizona.  Take the I-10 business loop.  The RV park will be down on the left in approximately one mile..  When you see the Walmart, it will be to the left.

The Campbase map is accurate for the location of the park.

Comment

Quarter Horse Hotel and RV Park is open all year with RV only camp spots.  A motel is also located on the premises.  Pull thru and full hookup camp spots are available along with some shade trees and paved camp roads.  The camp spots have picnic tables but no fire rings.  It's also located in the town on Benson where there are markes, restaurants, and fuel.  The prime camping season for this park is October through April.  Extreme summer tempratures tend to drive most RVers out of the area.  It's a good park for snowbirds.  It's a desert area however, winter tempratures are mild.  
 
Local Recreation:

Kartchner Caverns State Park is one of the closest recreational areas to this campground.  The state park provides tours of the caverns.  Photography is not allowed on the cavern tour. 

The Pima County Fairgrounds is approximately two miles west of the campground.

The Pima Air and Space Museum is one of those must-see museums.  It's located at 6000 E. Valencia Blve. Tucson.  (520) 574-0462.  Www.pimaair.org.   The Pima Air and Space Museum also offers exclusive bus tours of the 309th Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Center (AMARG), also known as the "Boneyard." The AMAGR is located adjacent to the Museum.  Bus tours of the facility are available on a "first come first serve" basis.  The tour bus boards at the Museum entrance.

The Loop bike trail circles Tucson and is a good way to get around by bike.  It's a bike and walk trail.  Here is a link to The Loop.

Old Tuscon is an old west town where movies are made.  There is an old town street with restaurants and shops.  There are Can Can shows, gunfights, western cultural exhibits and more.  Www.oldtucson.com.  (520) 883-0100.  201 S Kinney Rd. Tucson, AZ  85735.  

Saguaro National Park is great for hiking and wildlife viewing.  There are no campgrounds in this National park so, its best to stay at Quarter Horse RV Park and drive to the national park.  Here is a link to the national parks web site:  https://www.nps.gov/sagu/index.htm
