California, Fernwood Campground is located in Big Sur.

Fernwood Campground is open all year with 60 camp spots along with a motel, cabins, adventure tents, tenting and RV sites at this location.  The campground is just one mile north of Big Sur State Park.  There is direct hiking access to the state park from Fernwood.  Here you can camp along the Big Sur River among the giant Redwood Trees.  It doesn't get much better than this.  Tubing on the Big Sur River is a great activity for the entire family.  The water is usually shallow so, it's safe for the kids.  The river runs through the middle of the campground.  The campground has a bar, grill, market, and shops.  On Highway 1 near Fernwood can be found shops and restaurants.  Try the Redwood Grill, it's a local favorite.  Fuel can be found approximately one mile from the campground.  The ocean and great beaches are just a short drive away.

The maximin RV length is 30 feet. 

There is no cell service in the campground.  WiFi is only available at the camp store.
