Description

California, Horizon Mobile Village and RV Park.  The park is one of the closest RV parks to the downtown Palm Springs area.  Horizon is happy to say, “We welcome tiny homes!”

Directions:

On Interstate-10 near Palm Springs take Palm Drive/Gene Autry trail(Highway-111), and go south.  Go past the airport and take a right on Highway-111B towards downtown Palm Springs.  In approximately one mile the campground entrance will be on the left side.

Horizon Mobile Village and RV Park is an established park with extended stay, RV camp spots and tiny homes.  The park is open year round with 41 camp spots available.  No tenting or pop-up trailer spots are available.  All RV spots are back-in.  Restrooms and showers are available.  Fire rings are not allowed.  Many of the parks camp spots have shade trees.  Big rigs up to 40 feet can be accommodated with full hookups.  Reserve early as they go fast.  The park has a beautiful pool and jacuzzi.  It's a great location for seeing the Palm Springs area.  The hiking trails are just steps away, immediately behind the Park. 

THINGS TO DO:

There is a fantastic FREE Trolley that stops near the Park every 15 minutes and runs a loop through the downtown Palm Springs area.  It's called Buzz Palm Springs.  Their web site is here: http://new.buzzps.com. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed. 

Right at the park you will find hiking trails that lead up by the Bob Hope Estate.

Downtown Palm Springs is approximately 2 miles from this RV park.  The downtown area is quite popular for an evening walk or shopping. There are many shops and restaurants.  The Spa Resort Casino is also located in the downtown area. 

Joshua Tree National Park is approximately 35 miles from this RV park.
