La Paz County Park Campground is open all year 114 RV camp spots.  In addition, dry camp spots and Group spots are also available.  RV spots have water and electric only.  A dump station is also available.  Some campground roads are paved however, most are not paved.  Many camp spots have beach access along the Parker Strip on the Colorado River.  Some shade spots are available however, most camp spots do not have shade.  There is a paved River Walk that runs along the beach in the campground.  The river walk also continues outside the campground into the Pirates Den Resort where you will find a high quality beach bar and restaurant.  It's an easy walking distance from most camp spots.  Camp spots are well sized for RV's.  Campbase estimates that big rigs up to 45 feet can be accommodated.  Larger spots are also available in the dry camping area near the highway.  All in all, it's a great choice for camping and boating.  There is a limited amount of services outside the campground so bring everything you will need with you.  Well controlled pets are allowed(leashed).

Local Recreation:

The campground has a family beach.  Located below Parker Dam on the Colorado River, there is a current so please use caution.  The area is known as the Parker Strip.

Boating and fishing is popular from the park.  It's a boaters paradise with boating beaches available all along the Colorado River.  The park has a boat launch ramp.

Parker Dam is just off Highway-95 a few miles north of the campground.  RV's are not allowed on the Dam, just cars allowed.  Please see our photos tab for a picture.

London Bridge is located 30 miles to the north of the campground in Lake Havasu City.  It's a great spot to visit and spend the day.  There are restaurants and bars located near the bridge.  Please see the picture of the bridge in our photos tab.

Also visit the Blue Water Resort and Casino located four miles south in Parker along the river.

The Emersld Canyon Golf Course is located directly across the highway from the campground.
