Description

Arizona, Sandbar Resort Campground.  The campground has easy access from Highway-95. 

Directions:

From downtown Parker, Arizona, proceed North on Highway-95 for approximately 5 miles.  Go left on Resort Road and take it to Riverside Drive.  At Riverside Drive go right.  The resort will be just a few blocks north on the left side of the highway.

Sandbar Resort Campground is open all year with 95 RV or tent camp spots.  A few rental trailers are also available.  The campground is located on the Parker Strip section of the Colorado River.  River front and river view camp spots are available.  The Shipreck Bar is also located in the campground.  Camp spots have full hookups.  There is a small launch ramp available.  Most camp spots do not have shade.  

Local Recreation:

The campground has a family beach.  Located below Parker Dam on the Colorado River, there is a current so please use caution.  The area is known as the Parker Strip. 

Boating and fishing is popular from the resort.  It's a boaters paradise with boating beaches available all along the Colorado River.  The park has a boat launch ramp. 

Parker Dam is just off Highway-95 a few miles north of the campground.  RV's are not allowed on the Dam, just cars allowed.  Please see our photos tab for a picture.  

London Bridge is located 20 miles to the north of the campground in Lake Havasu City.  It's a great spot to visit and spend the day.  There are restaurants and bars located near the bridge.  Please see the picture of the bridge in our photos tab.

Also visit the Blue Water Resort and Casino located in Parker along the river. 

The Emersld Canyon Golf Course is located approximately one mile to the south of the resort
