Directions:

From downtown Monterey, take Highway-68 Eastbound.  After a few miles you will pass the stop light at Boots Drive.  Approximately another half mile East on the left side of the highway will be the entrance to the recreation area.  There is no light at the entrance.

Laguna Seca Recreation Area has three campgrounds located at the Laguna Seca race track.  Some campgrounds are seasonal.  All RV water is non-portable.  RV's up to 40 feet can be accommodated.  Camp spots have electric and water hookups.  
 
Note:  the track, campgrounds, and surrounding are are often reserved for large group events.  Check with the reservation system to see if campsites will be available during your visit.
 
Drive-ins are welcome and reservations are taken up to one week prior to your arrival. To make a reservation call (888) 588-2267. There is a $5 reservation fee per site, up to a total of $15. Check-out time is 2p.m. the day of departure.
 
Chaparral and Can-Am Circle Campground ($35 per night)
 
RV Camping is available year-round at the Chaparral and Can-Am Circle “C” Campgrounds for $35 per night. Both campgrounds features:
• Sites with water and electricity
• Dump station
• Level sites with a black top pad suitable for cars, pick-up campers and RVs (sites cannot accommodate tents with stakes)
• Bathrooms and hot showers within a short walk
• Picnic tables and fire pits
 
Grand Prix Campground ($30 per night)
 
Camping is available at the Grand Prix Campground between April 1 and October 31. This campground features:
• 70 non-hookup sites
• Level sites with a dirt pad suitable for tents requiring stakes, cars, pickup campers and RVs 
• Bathroom and hot showers within a short walk
• Telephone, playground, and access to water nearby
• Picnic tables and fire pits
 
For groups reserving 10 or more camp sites at Chaparral, a Group Building is available with the following amenities:
• Heating and air conditioning
• Kitchen with sink, range/oven, refrigerator
• Tables and chairs to seat 100
• TV/VCR and pull down projection screen
• Full size barbeque, picnic tables and night lighting outside
