California, Mojave Narrows Regional Park 

Directions:

Northbound on Interstate-15 in the city of Victorville, take the Bear Valley Road exit and go right at the bottom of the offramp.  Travel eastbound for approximately two miles and take a left on Ridgecrest Road.  Go northbound on Ridgecrest and the parks entrance will be on the left side of the highway in approximately one mile.

Mojave Narrows Regional Park.  Reservations: 877-387-2757.  Campbase visited this campground during the winter months.  The Campbase pictures do not do the campground justice due to all the trees that had lost their leaves.  The best time to visit the park is fall, winter, and spring.  Summer tempratures can be extremely high.  The park has RV and tent camp spots.  Cabins are not available.  Its a great spot for the family with all kinds of family activities available.  Including fishing, paddle boats, horsebacking, hiking, frisbee golf and much more.  The campground has some railroad noise from tracks running along the west side of the park. Good cellular service is available in the park.
