Directions

On the I-40 take exit 286 near Holbrook, Arizona.  Proceed north on Navajo BLVD a short distance and turn left on Buzzard BLVD.  Take a quick right onto Roadrunner and the campground is right there.

Ok RV Park has easy acces from the I-40 freeway.  The campground is located in a desert area and shade is limited.  Reservations can be made online at the campgrounds web link provided here.  Approximately 90 camp spots are available.  The campground is open all year.

The campground is located in the old town of Holbrook.  It's a great place to sight see and take pictures.  For photographers, there is a large number or unique old buildings to photograph. Also the Wigwam Hotel is in the Old Downtown area.
 
Visit Meteor Crater, there is an information center there and hourly tours of the crater.
 
The National Petrafied Forest  is just a short distance from the campground.  The petrified trees are truly amazing.
 
Route 66 road touring.
 
Navajo County Fairground.
 
Holbrook Information Center and Museum is located on the main drag in downtown Holbrook, approximately one mile from the campground.
 
Bicycling in downtown Holbrook is excellent with limited traffic.  Big tire bicycles are best due to large cracks in the road.
 
Note:  Pictures taken here were during the winter months and therefore, normally lush shade trees had no leaves.
