Description

Arizona, Picacho Peak RV Resort has easy big rig access from Interstate-10.

Directions:

From Interstate-10 take the Picacho Peak Road exit and go West for just one block to E Peak Lane.  Take a left onto E. Peak Lane.  Proceed on E. Peak Lane south for less than a mile and the campground entrance will be on the right side.

Comment

Picacho Peak RV Resort is open all year with RV camp spots available.  This is a 55+ only RV park.  No one under the age of 35 is allowed.  Camp spots are well maintained but do not have a picnic table or fire ring.  Most spots do not have shade.  Big rigs to just about any size can be accommodated.  Pull through spots are also available.  The resort has a pool, jacuzzi, weight room, and game room.  There is some highway noise from Interstate-10.  Summer temperatures in this area can be extreme.  The best seasons to visit are fall, winter, and spring. 

Local Recreation:

The resort has all kinds of activities of activities including a pool, jacuzzi, game room, and exercise room.  Hiking into Picacho Peak State Park is nearby.

Peacach Peak State Park has an extensive set of hiking trails.

Located approximately 45 miles to the South in Tucson is the Pima Air Museum.  It's a must see for travelers into this area.
