Description

Colorado, Pikes Peak RV Park is located within walking distance from downtown Manitou Springs shops and restaurants. 

Directions:

From Colorado Springs, take Highway 24 West toward Manitou Springs.  When you reach Manitou Springs take the Manitou Avenue cloverleaf exit.  At the bottom of the ramp go right on Manitou Avenue toward the Southwest.  After approximately two blocks, the campground will be on the right side.

Pikes Peak RV Park has RV camp spots.  The campground is seasonal closing in November and opening on April 15.  Located on Fountain Creek the campground has numerous shade spots.  It's also centrally located with access to services and recreation areas.  The campground has a good mix of country and city living.  City bus services are located nearby.  

Local Recreation:

Downtown Manitou Springs is just a short walk from the campground where you will find restaurants, coffee shops, and arcades.  There are also numerous small shops selling souvenirs.  A city bus is also available for the short ride.  There are also several mineral springs in Manitou.  There are small water fountains available for the public to taste the spring waters(please see the photos tab).

Garden of the Gods, located nearby, is designated as a national natural land mark.  It's a great place for a short bike ride or walk.  It's a beautiful natural area deserving of its name.  Click here to see a time lapse video of the Garden of the Gods.

The Pikes Peak Cog Railroad is located just a short distance from the campground in Manitou Springs.  The cog railroad takes passengers up to the top of Pikes Peak.  It's a fantastic ride through forests and up the steep sloops of Pikes Peak to 14.000 feet.  It's a great ride for the entire family.
