Directions:

From Yuma, Arizona, travel Westbound on Interstate-8.  Cross over the Colorado River and continue approximately 5 miles to Sidewinder Road. At the freeway exit ramp, go left onto Sidewinder Road.  At the Chevron fuel station take a right onto Frontage Road.  Travel Westbound on Frontage Road for approximately half a mile and the parks entrance will be on the left side.

Pilot Knob RV Resort is open for RV camping only.  The park is closed over the summer from March 31 through November 1 due to extreme summer heat.  The park is just one of a few near the Glamis Sand Dumes that has full hookups available.  Campground roads are crushed rock.  Cell service is generally good from this location.  Air TV is available, cable TV is not available. The sand dunes are approximately a 15 minute ride.  Fuel is available near the park at the Interstate-8 freeway exit.  There is also propane and a small market at the gas station.  Ice is available there.  Its a great spot for off roaders and snow birds.
