Arizona, Plomosa Road Camping

Directions:

From Quartszite go north on Highway-95 for approximately 4 miles.  Look for the Plomosa Road sign.  Turn right onto Plomosa Road and then make a quick right into the parking area along the road.  The entrance road is on the right side of the highway.

Plomosa Road Camping  This is open dispursed camping. Camping is free.  There is a 14 day camping limit.  Pack it in, pack it all out.  No water available.  The small town of quartsite is located just 4 miles to the south of this campground.  Quartszite has fuel, markets, restaurants, and most services.  Visit The RV Pit Stop in Quartzsite for access to RV water, Propane, and a RV dump.  The RV Pit Stop is right on Highway-95 approximately four miles from Plomosa Road.  There is no shade at the campground but, most areas are level.  Open camping, no designated sites.  Summer tempratures in Quartzsite are extreme.  Campbase recommends camping at Plomosa Road between November and April.  Please check-in with the campground host upon your arrival. Most RVers park near the highway on Plomosa Road.  Please see out "Photos" tab above for pictures and information from the parking area.  Ground camp fires are allowed.  Cellular service is usually available.  Big rigs to just about any size can be accommodated.
