California, River Lodge Resort

Directions:

The campground is located approximately one mile south of Parker Dam on the California side.  Take Parker Dam Road south and the campground entrance will be on the left side.   Note: RV's are not allowed to travel over Parker Dam. If you are driving an RV come north on Parker Dam Road from the downtown Parker area.  It's approximately 11 miles, the resort entrance will be on the right.

Comment

River Lodge Resort is open all year with over 400 tent and RV camp spots.  Bungalows are also available.  The resort has a 9 hole golf course.  Most camp spots have full hookups.  There is a camp store and boat launch available.  The resort has a large overflow area for boat trailers and off road equipment.  Approximately half of the camp spots have shade.  Campbase estimates that big rigs up to 65 feet can be accommodated.  Cellular service is good from the resort.  Well controlled pets ar allowed. 

Local Recreation:

The campground has a family beach.  Located just below Parker Dam on the Colorado River, there is a current so please use caution.  The area is known as the Parker Strip. 

Boating, beaches, and fishing are popular from the campground.  It's a boaters paradise with boating beaches available all along the Colorado River. 

Across the highway from the resort and half a mile south is an off roading area.  It's very easy access from the resort.  Bring your off road equipment.

Parker Dam is just a mile north of the campground.  RV's are not allowed on the Dam, just cars allowed.  Please see our photos tab for a picture.  

London Bridge is located 30 miles to the north of the resort in Lake Havasu City.  It's a great spot to visit and spend the day.  There are restaurants and bars located near the bridge.  Please see the picture of the bridge in our photos tab.

Also visit the Blue Water Resort and Casino located in Parker along the river.
