Comment

Riverfront RV Park is open all year with approximately 150 RV only camp spots.  It's an older RV park with some extended stay.  Roads are paved and may camp spots have nice shade trees.  There is an old time theme in the park with antique cars, bikes, and signs(see our pics).  The park does have Colorado River access and a small kayak launching beach.  Full hookups and a laundry room are available.  The park is in the town of Yuma and there are restaurants, fuel and markets just a short distance from the park.  The busy season for this park is October through April.  Summer tempratures are extreme and tend to drive most campers out of the area.  Cellular service was good from this location.  It's also a good snowbird park.  Campbase estimates that big rigs up to 45 feet can be accommodated.

There are no fire rings.  All spots are back-in, no pull through sites.

Local Recreation:

The Colorado River runs past the park however, the area is more suited to kayaking than large power boats.  Fishing is popular from the banks of the resort.  West Wetlands Park is right beside the RV park.  It's along the Colorado River and is a nice place to walk, bike, or fish.

Just a few miles to the west of the resort is the Imperial Sand Dunes.  This is a large off-roading area that has camping but, no full hookups.  Buttercup is the closest entry point to the dunes.  See our information page here.

Quechan Casino Resort is just a short distance West of the RV park.  The casino has gaming and restaurants.
