Description

Oregon,Spinreel Campground, Siuslaw National Forest has easy highway access from Highway-101.  The campground also has sand dune access.

Directions:

From Reedsport Oregon, travel 11 miles south on Highway 101 to the Spinreel Road. Turn on Spinreel Road and proceed 1/2 mile.

Spinreel Campground is open all year with 36 RV and tent camp spots.  RV's up to 40 feet can be accommodated.  The campground has OHV access to the sand dunes.  Reservations are available through www.recreation.gov. 

This campground does have mosquitoes.  Depending on the time of year, they can be quite a nuisance.  Campbase recommends a mosquito mesh hat, insect repellent, and a mosquito net awning to sit in.  If mosquitoes bother you, these items are essential for this location.
