Directions:
 
From downtown Tahoma, go south on highway 89.  After one mile the state parl will be on both sides of the highway.  The campground is on the right side.

Comment

Sugar Pine Point State Park can accommodate trailers up to 26 feet and Camper/Motorhome to 32 feet.  Camp spots are available all year.  There are 10 group campsites and 120 family campsites available during the summer months.  The number of camp spots are reduced during the winter mons.  The dump station and showers are also closed during the winter months.  The park has 2 miles of beach front on Lake Tahoe however, all camp spots are across highway 89 from the lake.  There are no lake front camp spots.  Most camp spots have large shade trees.  The park has dense forests of pine, fir, aspen and juniper trees.  The small town of Tahoma is located approximately one mile from the campground.  
 
Local Recreation:
 
The park has a swim beach.  The campground is across Highway-89 from the parks beach.
 
There is a paved bike path that runs past the campground.
