Uniontown KOA is open all year with limited facilities in the winter months.  Big rigs up to 80 feet can be accommodated in some sites.  The park is situated between the Youghiogheny River and the Great Allegheny Passage bike trail, every campsite comes with a view of the trail or river.  Campground restrooms are all well maintained and have showers.  The park has accommodations for RV's and tenting.  Camping cabins are also available.  Its a nice quiet park, no airport noise, no freeways.  Its actually one of Campbases favorite KOA campgrounds.  Access to the bike path is quick and easy.  Rafting or just floating down river can be really fun during the summer.

Local Activities: Rafting and biking.  Please see our photos tab for pictures of the river rafting and biking trail.

The bike trail extends over 150 miles.  Its a well groomed bike trail.

The Youghiogheny River runs along the campground and is great for fishing, swimming and refting.
