Description
Oregon, Whalen Island Country Campground. The campground has easy access from Sand Lake Road.
Directions:
The campground is located 4.5 miles North Cape Kiwanda on Sand Lake Road. Its also on the Three Capes Scenic Loop in the Pacific City area. The park also has direct access to Sand Lake.

Whalen Island Country Campground is open all year with 33 RV and tent camp spots. Great little spot The park has restrooms and a RV dump station. Picnic tables and fire rings are available at each camp spot. Most spots are level with access to Sand Lake Bay. The Sand Lake dunes area is located just a few wiles away.
