Description

California, Anacapa Island, the closest Channel Island to the mainland of California, offers three iconic features of Channel Islands National Park: Arch Rock, Inspiration Point, and the Anacapa Island Lighthouse.

Direction:
Island can be reached by boat from Ventura Harbor.  Campbase recommends using Island Packers.  The address used here is for the park headquarters not on the island campground.

Anacapa Island Campground is open all year with seven(7) tent only camp spots.   All campgrounds have vault toilets and picnic tables.  Camping is primitive.  Pack it it, pack it out.  Campbase recommends making a reservation with Island Packers to get to the islands.  The web site is http://www.islandpackers.com.  Email is: Info@islandpackers.com.  The phone number is: (805)642- 1393

Pets are not allowed.

No fishing.
 
No water available except on Santa Cruz Island.
