Description

California, Aspen Campground.  The campground is near Lee Vining and near the back entrance to Yosemite National Park.  The campground is located on Lee Vining Creek.

Directions:

From Highway-395 in the small town of Lee Vining, take Highway-120 and go West.  After a mile or two, take a left onto the Poole Power Plant access road and then a quick right onto Poole Power Plant Road.  Proceed Westbound.  The campground entrance will be on the left side in just a few more miles

Aspen Campground is a seasional campground closing in the winter.  This is an active bear area, store food properly.  The campground can accommodate tenting and RV's up to 40 feet.  The campground is at 7,490 feet.  Most camp spots are shaded.  The campground is located on Lee Vining Creek.
